Phaze Requires a GPU on the Computer You Want to Connect to (the Host)

Most computers have a GPU. They either have an integrated graphics GPU, like Intel's Arc iGPU, or an Nvidia or AMD dedicated GPU. Phaze works with any of that hardware that supports H264 or H265 encoding. For more information about whether your device supports that encoding, please check with Intel, Nvidia, or AMD. Intel's video encoder is Quick Sync. Nvidia's is called NVENC. AMD's encoder is VCE or VCN.

Server class CPUs and similar architectures do not have integrated graphics. They typically rely on software rendering. Phaze does not currently support connecting to a device that does not have a graphics card.
